Sabre Leisure is a family business started in 1997 by Chris and Nigel, a husband and wife team.
There are many themes to the company and one thread has always been the supply of chandlery especially safety equipment.
Chris and Nigel have over 30 years as qualified and experienced boaters. They have traversed the River Thames on numerous occasions venturing right up to Cricklaide the highest navigable point. Their principle experience though is of the English Channel visiting France and the Channel Islands plus numerous ports along the South Coast. Nigel spent a brief spell on the 'Lord Nelson' one of the Jubilee Trust's square rigged training sailing ships. They have owned numerous cockpit and fly bridge boats.
A very good friend of theirs, who is a technical wizard, made them a Bluetooth headset similar to one they use themselves on their 65 foot Princess kept in the Mediterranean. Following an article in last July's Yachting and Motor Boat Monthly magazine Nigel and Chris have received numerous enquiries as to where such headsets could be purchased. Having searched the market and trialled various options Nigel and Chris feel that the Sena SPH 10 in their view is the best available on the market today.
Nigel says that it is as though it was designed for the boating fraternity. Its great versatility clear speech, light weight and comfortable fit make it a winner. So confident in the product are they that they have launched it on the UK and European Market. It will not only add to the on board safety but hopefully enhance the whole boating experience.
